A colleague (who is an economist) suggested that
It is a real challenge that has to be addressed immediately. However, the mindset of many is hard to change and unfortunately this situation can linger on for long.
Constant dialogue and pushing the business/economic/human case to change this reality is the way forward.
Ideas to deal with this issue are welcome.
